How do you photograph weddings?
Before the wedding day even begins we have conversations about what you expect from me as the photographer. I do this so that the wedding day can be as smooth and easy for you as can be. I love to use more of a photojournalistic approach on your wedding day to capture the most raw and real side of you and your loved ones. My clients have often described me as being stealthy and that is exactly what I aim to be. Depending on the package you choose, I will be there from getting ready to the exit. I love capturing all of the little details of your big day and really curating your own wedding gallery. I shoot with a variety of lenses to give you unique perspectives of all of those important elements you selected for your wedding, while still maintaining my clean and simple style that I love.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Utah but love to travel! I started my business in San Francisco and am very familiar with many types of environments, from the rocky cliffs of Big Sur to the Wasatch Mountains. When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 4 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them, favorite them, and even order prints.
How many pictures will we receive?
For 8 hours of wedding day coverage, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images.
What does a typical wedding day look like
Typically my clients book me for a full 8 hour wedding day and here is a rough timeline of events:
• getting ready - detail shots of hair & makeup, candids with bride & bridesmaids, candids with groom & groomsmen
• first look and/or posed photos with family and bridal party
• ceremony
• posed photos with family and bridal party
• mini bridal photoshoot with bride & groom
• reception - entrance, detail shots of: food, decor, rings, cake, flowers; speeches, cake cutting, candids of dancing, and all of the festivities during this time
• exit
